Dear Sir and dear Madam, Dear friends of apex spine,
Yes, the most wonderful time of the year has come round again: Advent and Christmas tempt to stay at home, to sit together and talk and eat and eventually drink a (one!) glass of wine.
Enjoy that to the full. But then think also of your back – it doesn’t like long sitting at all. You can easily help it, though, to endure winter time - a time when almost anybody moves too little and at best just carries heavy shopping bags. A little stretching, a little strengthening – this will already help.
Find here your daily stretching & strengthening exercise to compensate for long sitting and stressful shopping:
|
Stretching your buttocks:
Lay down supine with your knees bent and the feet flat on the floor. Put your right leg over your left knee. Pull your left leg toward your chest grabbing it underneath the knee.

Hold 5 seconds. Repeat 5 times, switch sides.
Strengthening your back:
Lay down supine with your knees bent and the feet flat on the floor. Cross your arms in front of your chest and then lift your buttocks until you form a straight line from your knees to your shoulders. Press your heels to the floor and lift your toes.

Hold 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

Please note:
Since November, 1st the new ultramodern MRT is running at the apex spine center. This magnetic resonance tomograph is depicting precisely structure and function of all tissues and organs.
Mrs. Pia Kunz is the person in charge.
We wish you and your family a peaceful and healthy Christmas season.
All the best Your Apex-Spine team
